The Wirral Egg Run is an annual event which raises money for local children, childrens charities and donates Easter eggs to hospitalised children. The event left from New Brighton at 11am on 28th March with the Mayor leading the group and the Swinton Bikes custom Suzuki GSX1300R K8 Hayabusa following closely behind. The convoy of over 10000 bikes rode along the 20 mile route and took about 45 minutes to travel to Clatterbridge.
