I am a first time homeowner who is sub-contracting out the building of my first house. I am looking for general liability insurance and all I can find is commercial general liability insurance. I am not a contractor or a Business owner and am only building my primary residence. Where can I find a homeowner construction general liability insurance?

In other words, you (the owner) are acting as your own general contractor. I would consult an attorney to clarify requirements for your state.
