Q&A: I am a freelance sewing teacher in need of liability insurance, any ideas?
Question by HEATHER B: I am a freelance sewing teacher in need of liability insurance, any ideas?
I travel to their homes and teach, they do not come to me. Do I even need liability insurance or is the home owner responsible?

Sounds like a good question for your attorney. What happens if you accidentally nick a student with a rotary cutter? Or supply them with a non-safety cutter? Or direct them to sew through a nice thick welt, and they pull a little and a broken needle hits them in the eye?
