I always feel like they want to keep selling me more and more....I just want a simple term life insurance policy for myself, and my husband. What is the EASIEST way to get this set up, sans all the sales rigmarole?

Contact a local agent, and be upfront with them. Explain to them that you are not currently interested in other lines of insurance, and tell them exactly what coverage you are looking for. If they want the business, they will listen to your request. If you have auto or home owners insurance with a local agent, start with them. Since they already have your other policies, they will be less likely to hassle you, AND you may qualify for additional discounts on your auto and home policies by also carrying a life policy with the same company.
