Get 'Capitalism: A Love Story' on DVD: tinyurl.com "If I were a member of congress, I think what I do is I would say 'I might vote for it if, President Obama, you'll stand in front of the cameras and tell the American people that this doesn't really cover preexisting conditions for the next four years. And the insurance companies are still going to get to make outrageous profits and they are going to be able to deny people care once they have insurance. Tell the people the truth of these things ...' If you want government run health care then I want to see you exercise everyday like jog 2-3 miles, I want you to get to bed by at least 11 p. m. and get 8 hours of sleep. I want you to eat three square healthy meals a day and no junk food and be the healthiest you can be. Until then, stop trying to rob people, socialize health care would be great if it help really sick people with genetic diseases or cancer or accidents and not lazy idiots that want something for nothing.
May 29th, 2010 - 08:37
I will respect the idea of Moore to socialize health care whenever he loses weight and goes to 180 pounds.

Senate Republicans have shown their TRUE colors. They’re all in the pockets of Wall Street & the big Banks.
They have promised banks to gut the authority of the new Consumer Financial Protection Agency, and they want to continue giving Wall Street investment banks who make risky unregulated gambles like Goldman Sachs, FDIC deposit insurance and low interest government money.
They are blocking financial reform & selling us out for $millions in campaign contributions from the fat cats.

The bill that has been passed in the US is not Universal Health Care. Here in Canada we are not forced to buy health insurance. We pay for our health care through our taxes, like fire and police services are payed for in the US. Then we are issued a health card when we go to the doctor or the hospital we show are card, and the gov’t is billed. By the way our doctor are all in private practice they don’t answers to the gov’t, the only thing the gov’t does is pay the bill.
May 29th, 2010 - 10:29
@ MotionFrequency I’m from Canada, and what you said about a national health coverage is grossly mistaken if it incroyable.Une part of the reallocation of funds in the U.S. bill pre-dismissal Option Public have converged from proper cutting of other national treasures with inflated budgets. In addition, it is as usual with you and your doctor, the only difference is the statement that you no longer have to bear in the mail regarding the paiement.De simple statistics, even refute your crap.
May 29th, 2010 - 10:57
@Omniceros Don’t you understand that by supporting health care you are in fact killing millions. Medicare will be cut which hurts and kills seniors, abortions will kill millions of babies, doctors will quit which means quacks will operate on you which means more people will die. You might want to read a few pages of the bill that you worship. You wouldn’t sign a lease without reading it or having a layer would you> I’m just asking you liberals to not be so gullible and believe everything.
May 29th, 2010 - 11:34
I really wish that everyone would understand that by the support of people who deny the care of santé universal you êtes primarily to support the death of thousands. You kill out of people. I n' do not like the façon of which you l' étiquette or what you use the dogma, which never becomes well.
May 29th, 2010 - 11:49
Corporations own our government.
Why would they not want their investment to grow?
I miss liberals who had principle. . .

Healthcare Shmelthcare!
Obamaducation and the inhuman Math Panels are the TRUE socialist evils, you pinko CUPCAKES!
Idiocy Enthusiast SARAH PALIN speaks out at a Stupidity Rally in Gallstone, Texas:
“Gosh. I think that socialism stuff is for magazine-reading brainiacs, not good ol’ simple-minded Republicans like you and me! *winks* ”
Google “Freedom Haters Ignorant People” to learn what YOU can do to help privatize the school system!
May 29th, 2010 - 12:17
I feel like Michael Moore at times. . . so tired of all the BS that Americans are so fond tolérer.Obama did not fail us. WE manqué.Tant us that we have those who represent pigheads in this country out of the office, companies continue to operate our Congrès.Je support the boycott of Keith Olberman ..
May 29th, 2010 - 12:33
I live in canada and my healthcare is great no one in my country is denied care we don’t have to wait in long lines no one needs to worry about going bankrupt because they get sick, here in canada we make american health care system the example of what not to do.
May 29th, 2010 - 13:18
OBAMA blew it. His original bill w/no compromises was the bill to pass or not pass. Obama should have shoved that down the repubs throats, Didn’t anyone pay attention to Medicare’s history w/Truman? Truman received the first medicare cared in 1965.
May 29th, 2010 - 13:19
@merrimac291
Ah yes the dreadful government control
what a laugh.
I can see any family doctor I wish.
I get medication which is often made in America
for a cheaper price then Americans.
I have provincial health insurance and can get
private health insurance on top of it if I wish.
If you consider that communism you have no
clue what communism is.
May 29th, 2010 - 13:58
If this does not pass, I will die. My medicine to keep me alive and (work) costs $ 4,000 per month. My insurance will only pay $ 500. They must think like a blue collar AFORD I can pay $ 3,500 per month for a perscription. Over the dollar copay $ 50 per month for use. More than $ 300 per month I pay for insurance. And the $ 4,000 per year pay reduced in order to use the insurance. Is there no end to greed?
May 29th, 2010 - 14:13
deadcoat @Si you wish to preserve your système at Canada oà ¹ a contrôle more the government is censé être a virtue, then all is well. But all that j' have à to say c' is to kiss, your God, communist whore of système. And be done fucks up the ass.

A real life example of socialized medicine:
My grandma, who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, is waiting for surgery on her second eye for cataracts.
The wait is caused by a maintenance shutdown of the surgical equipment.
Within 3 to 5 weeks she will have had her 2nd surgery and will be seeing perfectly.
How is that for death panels and the removal of non productive members of society in socialized medicine?
May 29th, 2010 - 14:38
So you rather have insurance companies control people’s lives ? At least here in Canada doctors do not need to consult with insurance companies or government, when they see patients. Unlike in America where doctors often must get permission from insurance companies before they treat their patients. Nor do we not have socialized medicine we have two-tier health care, something America can take and improve on.
May 29th, 2010 - 15:36
the argument that socialism is a better alternative to capitolism is about as effective as a fart in the wind. Capitolism itself is not evil, whats evil is the crooks who use it as a means to control everything. Try explaining this to a Liberal is like trying to explain to them that a toaster isnt evil just because some idiot decided to stick a fork in one. Basically they want to exchange a system of exponential potential for free mankind for a system were the government control absolutely, fools.
May 29th, 2010 - 16:03
I believe that, s' it s' d' acts; supposedly large, or should I say the largest country to the world that these conservatives bête like pointing, then I believe that this country would owe révéler like étant the  “the largest country of the monde" , by providing care of santé universal à its citizens, like Cuba and Canada. Still say to me. Who is the largest country of the world? On your you blow know what!
May 29th, 2010 - 16:48
a death sentence moore? Should we assume that because the government just doesn’t give away houses that the government is to blame for homelessness? See, liberals don’t understand the whole philosophy of property (Lockean principles on which this country was built). You can’t argue that you deserve a house or healthcare or even food in a court of law. . . Those simply are not rights. If they were the government would have to give houses and food away to every1 in the country.
May 29th, 2010 - 17:29
I did not watch this video but I see “interesting discussion”. Socialized medicine is not a good idea. Forcing people to buy something is illegal. The reason health care in the states is expensive and they can do what they want is because of government. They created monopolies by not letting us buy over state lines. There are something like 1,300 insurance companies in this country and it most states your lucky if you’re allowed to buy from 5. Whose fault is that? Let the free market work.
May 29th, 2010 - 18:16
I see that we hear the usual social Darwinist morons who feel some sort of health care is a privilege reserved for those who can afford it. Maybe when they are seriously ill and their insurance company weasels coverage they paid for they will eventually get it!
May 29th, 2010 - 18:20
BOISE, Idaho (AP) – Idaho Governor CL “Butch” Otter, on Wednesday became the first state to sign CEO of a measure requiring the Attorney General to sue if it passes Congress that health reforms residents of force to buy insurance. Similar legislation is underway in 37 other states.
May 29th, 2010 - 18:24
This is just another example of how crapitalism has seized our so-called “democracy” by the throat and is using it to enslave all of us.
I for one plan to DEFY this law. NOBODY forced me to do business with ANY PRIVATE COMPANY that I don’t choose to do business with. This is FASCISM, plain and simple and I WILL NOT STAND FOR IT. WHO’S WITH ME?
May 29th, 2010 - 19:05
@merrimac291 : Granted, the health care systems in France and Switzerland are run by private corporations. However, they are forbidden by law to make profits on their products – these are NON-PROFIT companies.
Sadly, “Obamacare” is going to give us the worst of both worlds: instead of being allowed to buy into a non-profit option, we are now all going to be forced to buy from these same vile, predatory, blood-sucking korporations who will continue to raise premiums and deny care
