   Progressive thinks people are STUPID because they are utilizing some dumb caricature to sell worthless insurance policies. There is nothing funny about death and an insurance company such as Progressive that REFUSES to honor their policy. Progressive is nothing more than a Ponzi Scheme in which the Corporate Executives get rich and leave injured policy holders bogus insurance policies which are not worth the paper they are written on.    state farm is cutting shops out of there program right now too ,so they say on quality and performance,im telling you that there just keeping the shops that suck there balls the most and do things the cheepest. send me a msg if you are a lawyer needed help in fighting theese bullies,i will do all i can to help in any way.

   liberty mutural???????did you know when a preferred shop writes a est for the ins company they are told to write it at bare minimum if they want to keep there account,with no blending the color or taking items off the vehicle like doorhandle s ,molding,pinstripes ect. just incase the customer cashes out,but iif the customer brings the vihicle back to the shop then they can add all the stuff back that they had to leave off

   what they didnt tell you is the faster you repair the vehicle the more money the ins company saves on rental and you make a brownie point with them so they send more work. the cheeper the shop manager does work for them gets brownie points too. now the tecs arent making what they used too so they have to rush to still be able to make a paycheck

   As a technician i must say whomever repaired this definetely butched it up, But it can sometimes become easy to get a bad attitude when dealing with Progressive,the part they are not telling you is that Progressive calls all the shots in the repair! think about it would you want your health insurance company telling the SURGEON how to do his job? “Dont replace that heart when we can save money by repairing it!” they pay about half of what they should

   Yes insurance companies get brakes on repair charges but it’s the cost of business.

   Very misleading story about how DRP works. The idea behind this is not really to speed up the repair process. The idea is to send the repairs to a facility that can make the proper prepairs and be trusted not to inflate cost for the insurance company by not doing unnecessary repairs. so they can cut down on man power needed to monitor the repair process of every vehicle. No reputable body shop would do a repair like that, that is a perfect example of a “Hack” body tech.

    Progressive Insurance DOES SUCK!!! I’ve had them about 25 years, and yet when a woman hits me where I am stopped (she was talking on the phone and looking off to the side even – I watched her approach and slam into me), they paid her and upped my rates because it was more profitable. They didn’t even tell me they did it – I got to find out a year after I’d been paying them. Note well the cop on scene said the driver would have been charged if not on a private lot, so she couldn’t charge anyone.

    i work at a progressive direct repair shop,they write there own estimate for used parts that look like there off derby cars sometimes. my boss knows its wrong but he has to suck there balls for brownie points to get more work in. if you dont go to one of there repair shops they make sure to put you on the back burnner and make it hell . even something mighty as the persian empire fell. i just hope in mylifetime i get to see progressive fall to there knees in lawsuits and shame
