At 17 years old , you don’t have much of a choice. Don’t matter who you go with , they are all going to be around the same price.

almost the only option to wait until your age, are not accidents or tickets and get good credit. or even consider making a 4cyl or V6 version and modify the car you can file a v6 V8 4cyl easily the different uses k-members and all parties GT versions will work on low-end. Yes, it is more work but will save on insurance

if it has the word Mustang in it, l' insurance does not go être good marché. anything après word  “Mustang” does not cease a l' to enrich.

Consider a drivers ed course. Even if you don’t think you need it, you can possibly lower your rate by completing the course.
And $225 if you ask me is too much. I’m 18 on my dads insurance through Progressive and full coverage is only $250 per month.

use the SE such as Google or Yahoo to find ideas first if you want to get the massive information, but if you do not want to spend so much time here http://www. insuranceidea. info / free-insurance. htm is a direct and good resource for your questions.

I would like to re-examine sérieusement to be concerned with collision. The value of resale on Mustang 1990 is so low, that, in some années you will have passé more on l' insurance that you n' would have never to leave there. Any damage and they will be on the whole of the car. I would like simply to carry the responsabilité, and to fix the damage me-même.

Im 18 now but when i was 17 i had 2 mustangs. A 1990 4-cyl and an 88 GT convertible. I had Amica (my family’s policy) and i was paying 2100 a year for BOTH mustangs. It was considerably more expensive but i took a driving school, i made high honors, and we have like 8 cars registered to only 4 drivers. plus the mustangs stay in a garage when they arent being used. all those things are key to getting lower insurance

A few options will keep your age, so there is nothing you can do there, the only thing you might consider buying a Mustang fox body is more or find in the standard rather than the GT. The only other thing I could think of is to try to qualify for a discount good student, or pay for insurance yourself instead of your parents. .

That’s about right for your age and the car. My friend (17 yo) had a 89 mustang lx with the 5. 0 v8 and 5 speed manual and cost about $2000 a year and after his 3rd speeding ticket it was around $3200 a year and eventually he totaled it because he was showing off and hit a tree. it really isn’t even worth to buy the car cause insurance is basically the value of the car per year. The insurance companies know why a 17 year old guy wants a mustang gt and they know the risk you are compared to you driving a ’94 honda civic dx. There’s other cars that have the same performance or the same fun factor as the gt but they have a lower rate for insurance. just got to look around, research, and get quotes from different insurance companies.
