Members, by voice vote, passed a motion to reject the deal as currently written. The motion had been put forward by Reps. Peter DeFazio (D-Ore.) and Lloyd Doggett (D-Tex.) and was seconded, informally, by Reps. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.), Marcy Kaptur (D-Ohio) and Jay Inslee (D-Wash.). "It was an indication of disapproval and a rejection of the deal as currently written," said one House Democratic aide. The vote, which was conducted with something less than a full caucus present, was as much a repudiation of the substance of the deal as the White House's handling of it. According to sources, several members spoke out about the provision that deals with the estate tax, calling it too generous to the wealthy in its current incarnation. 1. @ 666brainiac This n' is not the good thing to be made either. Nobody would have imposed on their personal incomes. Few people, even rich. You have the right like a free person for the fruits of your work. Income tax violates l' amendment 14' HT because you work to pay the government (c' is l' slavery!).impĂ´t on the personal income accounts for only 1/3 of the federal receipts. To eliminate 1/3 from the expenditure of the government and repealing l' tax of the private individuals. Corporation tax are perfectly constitutional.

  2. the dems have sold us out to the top 10% they are crossed thier fingures and hoped that the poeple were to stupid to figure it out. Cenk was right!

  6. @PhoenixFlag1776

When I pay sales tax on what I purchases I dont resent the money taken and scheme ways to get it back. Its no longer ‘my’ money as are the taxes the rich pay.

If you are honestly trying to present the rich in this country, who pay the lowest real tax rates of any civilized country on earth, as victims. Check yourself into a mental hospital because you are very very sick as apparently the Republican party as a whole absolutely is.

  7. @Silvertrine It’s only irresponsible to argue for tax cuts without ALSO arguing for spending cuts, which is why I do want such cuts. I mean no offense, but your statement I quoted is still fallacious. It could only be true if the money didn’t belong to the “billionaires” to begin with. But it does originate with them. It only becomes the government’s after it is removed from the “billionaire’s” possession through taxation. Or would you dispute this?

  8. @ PhoenixFlag1776? Is not it? Empty. The r? Imp productions of t can not exist in an environment? Deficit BUDGETARY silent. What we do is the cr? 9. @jaalvarado1 yes the rich are getting richer and #’s prove it. . i dont think that it benifits gov’t to divide us tho but we are naturally divided by our ideals and perception of life. . but i believe that a certain group of politicians(R) like to astray ppl from whats good for them like health reform

  10. @ Mashack12 I believe, rich person become richer and the poor s' impoverish. I believe, qu' it is advantageous for the government to separate the American people. I belive, that the American people transform themselves into stupid animals. I think qu' it is useless to discuss on anything in policy. We are easily deceived to believe that is still a democracy. Divided we fall, we do not arrive not divided.

  11. If they oppose the bill – they should vote NO. Nancy, Nancy, Nancy you? Your better than that.
