Fight back against health insurance lies

FORWARD THIS VIDEO! Join the fight: sickforprofit.com What does UnitedHealthcare CEO Stephen Hemsley have to lose if Congress passes real healthcare reform this year? Well, for starters, his nearly three quarters of a billion dollars in unexercised stock options might lose a few pennies on the dollar. What does Isabella, a four year-old girl in Winsconsin who is physically incapable of eating and has had to be tube fed her entire life, have to gain from healthcare reform? The treatment she needs to live a normal life. Brave New Films is launching a major new campaign to reveal the truth about the health insurance industry, and we need your help to do it. Contribute today so we can create more campaigns exposing the obscene wealth of the CEOs of Aetna, CIGNA, Humana and WellPoint and the policyholders theyve abandoned for profit. http
"In this system, the way it's set up, the way the health insurance industry makes a profit is by restricting access and denying care." -- Geri Jenkins, RN, President, California Nurses Association www.michaelmoore.com cares.

@MrTigre3000 Pobrecito. Pero, medicinas americanas son mucho caro porque americanos estan muey gordo! Todo gordo, amigo!
April 17th, 2011 - 21:42
@DirectInjected Last I checked, you guys didn’t have a 70% obesity/overweight rate. Last I checked, Canada wasn’t a country of unhealthy laggards and addicts–overall astronomical pool risk which is the primary reason American HC and insurance costs are so high. Socialized care in America would only make the healthy even more liable for the costs of stupid fatasses, and wouldn’t even remotely address the core reasons for our higher costs. Socialize responsibility, not obesity!
April 17th, 2011 - 21:56
Poor kid. You pay all this money to have insurance, then when you need it they deny your ass. All the while people who sit on their ass get free health care. People who actually work and keep this country going cant fucking win.
April 17th, 2011 - 22:51

$3.2 million was just the salary? I wonder how much his capital gains, bonuses, and stock options are?
April 17th, 2011 - 23:48
@choclabs3 Actually, we Canadians are doing just fine. But keep believing that we’re dropping dead. Keep denying free healthcare to Americans. Your health standards are like a third world country, ours is one of the best.
April 17th, 2011 - 23:49
You chocolabsASS, you should stop trying to compare a couple of patients that have fallen through the gaps in Medicare VS. the 45,000 dead AMericans that fell through the giant gaping hole called For Profit, Insurance Run Healthcare.

You call dead people “bullsh.t” – no they are DEAD and poor. They are only DEAD because MEDICAID – the GOVT DENIED their care!
DEAD. DEAD DEAD because GOVT DENIED their care – google ABC NEWS medicaid two dead Arizona.
USA TODAY – US GOVT denies HC claims by TWO TO ONE over private insurance.
Mad – you should quit “qualifying” everything you say – some excuse or another – these people are DEAD.
POOR AND DEAD because GOVT said DENIED. FACT. Just like canada, UK GREECE, CUBA, SPAIN…
April 18th, 2011 - 00:35
The whole medicare denying more than private payers is BULLSHIT as shown by this link totally debunking that crap.
dailykosDOTcom/story/2009/10/6/05110/6076
“In California, from 2002 through June 30, 2009, the six insurers rejected 45.7 million claims — 22 percent of all claims.”
The true death panels are those 45,000 Americans dying EVERY year due to lack of access to care because of cost. Fuck them eh shithead??!! Twit
April 18th, 2011 - 00:53
USA GOVT denies HC by two to one over private ins. USA Today.
Two are dead in AZ as medicaid cuts funding for transplants. More cuts to come – Calif cutting medicaid funding as is TX, IL, etc.
Death panels picked the POOR to die FIRST – cut funding – people are dying today.
Govt taking $500 BILLION from medicaid to fund BO Care for illegals?!?! WHAT?!
WHY doesn’t govt FIX Medicaid FIRST?!?! SS is BROKE TOO – FIX these programs FIRST!
Comon – the poor are DYING – Govt says DENIED.
April 18th, 2011 - 00:55
DEATH PANELS HERE – HC RATIONING HERE – RIGHT NOW!
Medicaid RATIONED – TWO DEAD because they were denied transplant operations.
New York Gov. Cuomo, another Democrat, has pledged not to raise taxes, but is proposing STEEP CUTS IN MEDICAID BENEFITS TO THE POOR, a wage freeze for state workers & the elimination of some agencies.
Yes, who will suffer the most under BO care – those DENIED CARE BY GOVT. Yet you libs ignore the suffering of the POOR?!?! WHY isn’t medicaid FIXED?
I TOLD YOU SO.

B/c Republicans & conservadems are
wholly owned subsidiaries of corporations we have
Big Insurance, UHC, CIGNA, Wellpoint acting through
Joe Lieberman, Evan Bayh awa the entire
republican tea party & libertarians turning the
insurance industries weakest point,
the fact that they really are death panels,
into a positive. HCR is likened to death panels.
The PR miracle of our times with the cooperation
of uninformed uneducated gullible Americans.
Socialism? How convenient.

I am fed up with health insurance and their control over my health. I went to GreenHa.com and joined the first Universal Natural Health program hosted there…Unlimited Natural Health consults included! When the government makes this mainstream, people will be living twice as long! You can see it here: GreenHa.com

@stavie03 hahahahaha no, you just have to vote for someone with a soul.
April 18th, 2011 - 03:05
@stavie03 Some congresscritters are not millionaires. Peter DeFazio from Oregon, for example. He drives a VW Bug back and forth to work when he’s in DC. An old one, not one of the new, cool ones. Bernie Sanders from Vermont ain’t no millionaire, that’s for sure. It’s a great idea to have more of the common man touch in Congress, but just remember that Palin considers herself ‘of the people’ and so do a lot of others. Put her in office and you kiss health care goodbye forever.

Most CEOs of big corporations and government officials should be in prison. They’re the worst criminals but evade punishment because they cover for one another and create loopholes in the laws. Large fines are nothing to them. They spend billions disseminating false propaganda to keep the people in the dark and divide and conquer them. It’s easy to con ignorant people who idolize the rich and allow them to define “goodness,” “happiness” and “success.”
April 18th, 2011 - 04:30
Scam Left Wing video. At 4:20 commenter slips in “Government officials are calling this the biggest health insurance scam”. Says who? This is a false statement. Insurance does not pay for treatments that physicians say are “not medically necessary”. That baby helmet would rarely be covered by any insurance plan. Crapola!

@Slayerfan84, the thing is you don’t have a solution either. You just want to make it worse. If you, the government, or anyone else can create an organization that works better and cheaper then anything private industry can muster, be my guest. But don’t force me to use it or pay for it or you are defeating the purpose.
April 18th, 2011 - 05:56
@unelmitchell, they don’t hate the poor or sick, that would be the democrats that don’t give a shit about long term impacts of their policies, which harm the poor (minimum wage, excessive taxes), make us sicker (by getting rid of good doctors), and make us hungrier (by paying farmers not to plant to raise the price of food.)
The rupublicans aren’t better either, they support much of the same policies. Thats why I am libertarian.
April 18th, 2011 - 06:46
@ramonmalino I was told I’d have to pay cash for my face lift. LOL I want free healthcare so I can get face lifts.
. She doesn’t represent all nurses.
April 18th, 2011 - 07:27
@wellbl Nope. You can’t. Take it or leave it.
April 18th, 2011 - 07:28
An all over healthcare system takes lots of money from the taxpayers. Then the govt decides the pay for the nurses. Nurses will not want to take the pay cut and leave. You’ll have to cut somewhere. There is no perfect system, they all have their problems. The problem here is the middle man called insurance that increased the cost, and the code system that made us have to hire the administrators. Cut them out, the costs go down.
Sicko? Ask a real Cuban. It ain’t pretty in Cuba.
April 18th, 2011 - 07:37
@BlackMambakins Well, you idiots and “Obamaniacs” are gonna get your wish. I’ll continue to pay my premiums and enjoy the great health care that I WORK for, unlike you fuckin deadbeats that want ANOTHER handout from the government. I hear you can get your go’ment insurance card in the free cheese line. Enjoy!
April 18th, 2011 - 08:15
@stevensneed
Ok Mr.stevensneed that is poor, first of all this is not a question of being healthy or doing exercise, this is the refusal of help in your time of need. Imagine ur preparing food for your family and you accidentally cut off a part of your finger, what do you do? Do u go to a gym and lift weights to get back in shape? No, u go to the hospital and you seek for treatment, the problem with health care in US is that they charge you over 10000$(price varies depending on the finger)
April 18th, 2011 - 08:55
Nurses in belgium and netherlands have a much beter quality of life than nurses in the US
April 18th, 2011 - 09:20
It is both. It takes money to see a doctor! Common sense is crucial, but demographics is a motherfucker! Most poverty written people dont have the access. How many corporate jobs do you find in the hood? NONE. Fast food and liqour stores is what you will find. What good insurance can you affoard to pay working there? Going to the hospital is the only line of care. Yes, people can better themselves but its more easier said than done!
April 18th, 2011 - 09:54
Nurses and the Pts will get screw when this is all over.
April 18th, 2011 - 10:25
steven, instead of me or anyone who wants a public option goes to Canada maybe you turdnuggets should shut your pie holes & let us choose for ourselves & guess what… you choose to pay your way till you rot I could care less… Why should I leave the country that IS where I’m from ?why dont u go back to the vaghole you came out of & spare us your tardness. You have the right to choose what you want & so do the rest of us & majority rules baby! 78% even! Go crawl back underneath ur bridge troll.
April 18th, 2011 - 11:16
Please, before you call someone an utter (ubber?) moron, try and spell it correctly. If you want free healthcare, go to Canada and enjoy Socialized healthcare. You get what you pay for, and that includes healthcare.
April 18th, 2011 - 11:40
yeah riiight!!! but other countries can do it (free health care for their people and not go socalled bankrupt) You make no sense but then your probably used to it. No one is blaming the “system” douche, People have the right to afford proper health care and not loose everything they own trying to stay alive or healthy when they do get sick so shoosh… you are again a moron of ubber epic proportion.
Have a great day!
April 18th, 2011 - 11:42
I grew up under the poverty line, so fuck you asshole. It doesn’t take money to be healthy, it takes some common sense to know how to eat and how to exercise regularly. Blaming the “system” is just another way to shirk the responsibility of taking care of oneself.
April 18th, 2011 - 12:38
and to steven how do you expect someone living under the poverty line to keep themselves healthy you stupid idiot they can barely afford food now you want them to focus on eating healthy & keep themselves fit? why dont u spare some change & buy a shitload of vegies & pass em around some area where the mother & father struggle to put ANY food on the table. There is no profit in the cure moron, keeping people sick is where the insurance comp. & doctors & overpriced prescriptions see profit.
April 18th, 2011 - 13:25
yes she elected to stop the pain and get it fixed. My husband was told his surgery was elected as well yeah he elected to live and have most of his lower intestin removed and live with a colostomy bag. you moron, thats what they call it when you dont die either deal with the pain or wait for the elective relief of your pain and endure it for another 6 months… or so thats if they dont decide 6 months later she had a pre existing bullshit line and will say sorry u dont qualify. again your a tard

Countries like France, Cuba, Philipines and India, anyone can go to medical school. Not everyone can pass the exams and get a medical degree. So it undercuts the exclusivity and financial elitism of the US. If you look at healthcare statistics, the highly reimbursed physicians aren’t necessarily the ones providing the best care. It’s a resource allocation system which at this time is utterly corrupted. This is why we import doctors from France, Philipines, Cuba and India. Imagine!
April 18th, 2011 - 14:35
It’s not the Insurance Companies and it’s not the Doctors. Think of healthcare as a supply and demand system. when the demand goes down (…people stop going to the Hospital for every little sniffle) the cost of healthcare goes down, premiums go down and we all win. Here’s a novel idea – take better care of yourself and you won’t have to worry about health care cost as much. Personally, I’d much rather have a Doctor driving a Mercedes than a mule!
