Edward Kennedy Memorial Service – Joseph P. Kennedy (Part 2)
Joseph P. Kennedy, nephew of the late Sen. Edward Kennedy, speaks at the memorial service for his uncle at the JFK Presidential Library in Boston. Joe tells of how Teddy liked boat races, and used it as a metaphor that he would "never give up" on issues like health care.

this speech really moved me — my father died early on in my life — and my uncle stepped in — i don’t know how many times my mom would call my uncle for help -and he’d be there — i guess that what families do for each other — ted kennedy was definitely the rock for this large clan –

OK, maybe this guy–Joseph P. Kennedy–sometimes loses his audience, and maybe the jokes fall flat here and there. But you know what? He BELIEVES all the right things and is sincere as hell in his desire to do what’s right for the country and the world. I hope he’s elected to Teddy’s seat once Victoria’s interim service is done.

Lovely job-these folks love Ted and feel the loss. But they obviously love each other too. Those are some good family values. . .
How sad to be so full of hate (as some show here). May you be judged with more compassion than you show when you leave this earth-karma can be a bitch.
November 14th, 2010 - 18:58
Don’t you have any respect for a person, who just passed? Why can’t you just hold out your hatred? If you hates him that much, why are you even here? You know that this is a clip that pays tribute to Kennedy and no one is forcing you to be here. Grow up and have some courtesy!
