We have 2 of these brushless GuanLi Zeroes in our club and 4 of us have tried to fly them, with great difficulty!! They are a handful. CG needs to moved forward quite a ways with the battery as far forward as possible, as far as I can tell.

@mashmusic11235 I wasted $100 on a Guanli plane. NitroPlanes is fine, Guanli is not. Poorly built. It’s as disposable as toilet paper. No, not everything is installed. I purchased Guanli’s Corsair and the aileron servo was not installed. I eventually had to use a sharp knife to finish installing it. If you are a beginner, it could last you 5 minutes. Buy a qualify plane at your local hobby store!

I bought Guanli’s upgraded brushless F4U Corsair from NitroPlanes. Guanli should NOT label the plane RTF if the aileron server is not pre installed. That is just my humble opinion. Installing the aileron servo required a sharp knife. The servo with its wire did not really fit in the hole… The worst part of all is the motor mount, which seems to be attached with spit. Remember this: When it comes to rc planes, you get what pay for. ONE (soft) CRASH, that’s all they can withstand.

Question:
What do these come with? Is everything installed? If not, does it come with servos, motor, battery, etc.?

Looks like those fly much better than the dynam spitfire you had! Nitroplanes is kind of ‘hit or miss’. But usually you can get them flying with just a little work. You should check out the Catalina! I absolutely love it! It too has some major issues out of the box… but after putting in new ESC’s, Servos(and stiff control rods – ones that came with it were FLIMSY), and RX it flies great!
Thanks for the reviews! Keep them coming!

I just got the Guanli FW 190 and mine came with the balance charger with wall plug.
June 8th, 2011 - 18:00
DOES THIS PLANE COME WITH LIPO BALANCE CHARGER FOR THE LIPO INCLUDED. Do you just use the stock charger?

Thank you for your response and your advice

I wouldn’t recommend the Zero or the F4-U to a beginner. I’d recommend either the J-3 Cub or the Firebird Phantom. The two models in this video are more for intermediate to experienced pilots.

Hmm, don’t know what was wrong. I wound up giving it to another club member. He couldn’t get it to fly very well either.

That “was” funny! Yeh, we should listen to what movie stars have to say, they really got it going on. Just goes to show, even the wealthy can be stupid. Or is it, even the stupid can be wealthy.
