Young Mens experiences of high insurance premiums?

Im a man aged 18 years who has a full driver's license UK but I have no car because my insurance which are quoted at £ 2500. Just wondering if anywhere else had similar experiences and no wonder many young men walk around without insurance.

Hiya mate, ie got 5 children, four boys, my two Youngest 20, one 19, they cited the same as you £ 25,000 - £ 3000, and yes you are right how could pay any normal person, I had to have them both insured named as drivers of mine, I think the government should grant to the first years of insurance on young drivers to congratulate them on doing things right and legal, instead of letting insurance companies off load of money on young novice drivers, you're not a parent could insure for you as you as a driver named?
