Buying auto insurance online a good idea?
I just bought a car last week (again). I received online quotes from various insurance companies. Some premises are way out of my budget (some from around $ 2,000 a policy of six months). I found one I am interested but the place is all the way to San Diego, Ca when I am in Berkeley, CA. That means I need a ticket to speak personally w / agent. I'm not in the phone calls, it appears that the increases price. The insurance company is progressive, I checked the customer feedback, something good from the bad. Just about everything seems Companies insurance are the same. Reviews say the same thing, from Statefarm progressive, it depends on luck I think.
If you know what you are doing is fine. But mostly, when you buy online, price changes - most of these places, which collects your information personal selling to agents, that leads. They are not "rate", they are "indications". Then when you go to actually buy policy, it becomes, after they check your credit. Progressive is a great company. You can call the 800 number, speak to them directly, and do everything online or by mail. Keep in mind, most people dissatisfied claims, are unhappy because they do not do it yourself insurance, and do not understand what they bought. Oh, you can find a progressive agent near you, use the button agent location on their webpage. You can enter and get a blanket held immediately.
