AIG Triumphs Over Stiff Competition to Become the Worst Corporation Ever

www.propublica.org Reporting from Los Angeles and Washington — Civilian workers who suffered devastating injuries while supporting the US war effort in Iraq and Afghanistan have come home to a grinding battle for basic medical care, artificial limbs, psychological counseling and other services. The insurance companies responsible for their treatment under taxpayer-funded policies have routinely denied the most serious medical claims. Those insurers -- primarily American International Group (AIG) -- recorded hundreds of millions of dollars in profits on this business. The civilian contractors have played an indispensable role in the two conflicts, delivering fuel to frontline troops, guarding US diplomats and translating for soldiers during dangerous raids. More than 1400 civilian workers have died and 31000 have been wounded or injured in the two war zones... Wondering what we still don't know about AIG at www.michaelmoore.com

I love my country but the facts are facts!

  4. I think that it’s agreed that a component of terrorism is that it involves deliberate targeting of non-combatants, which we don’t do.

  5. you know if your name is not Liddy i. e Edward. . fuck you to

  6. oh get off your fucking high horse you and I live in the biggest state sponsored terrorism of State in the world. . . ass

  7. National Health Service in Britain is brilliant. I’ve seen it myself being married to a Brit. I wish we had that here.

  8. The waiting time for heart surgery in England (through the National Health Service) is 7 weeks from referral to treatment and is getting shorter.

  9. Indeed. It is rare that quelqu' one on YouTube réalise two wrongs do not make a right. Mucho respect for you. Me also, I see it like ça, but j' had one moment of colère.

  10. He came out of the way when Al Qaeda tried to kill a member of Congress. If by “we” you mean the terrorists have no respect for law and order, then you should probably turn you! Who is “these” people, businessmen doing what capitalism tells them to do? Killing reasons not to kill, if necessary, be pro national health. Use your brain, and until then shut the fuck up.

  11. When did sending anthrax through the mail go out of fashion? I reckon we should bring that back as a tactic and mail shitloads of the stuff to these people.

  12. l' one of our d

  13. This is not insurance, it is the bottom line of the company. It’s about massive profits and not insurance. All the benefits of insurance has been lost back under Richard Nixon. It involves taking in billions and pay only millions. Stop calling this insurance. It is not.

  14. capitalism ceases to be capitalism when there are no longer fair laws for consumers. We don’t have capitalism in America. We have monopolies.

  15. You misread (or are unable to understand) my comment. My point is that Americans are homophobic and it is holding them back. (You know, I don’t read spanish comments and comment on them if I don’t understand them)

  16. and what is the problem of the gay MARRIAGE?, ahh homophobe!!!!

  17. problème of l' Amérique, c' is qu' they believe qu' they are more à risk Moslem terrorists and the homosexual ones who want to marry that of their corrodents undertaken à lucrative goal for l' health insurance. The best part of l' élection l' last year has été " Joe the plombier". Its manière to think représente everthing à badly  l' Amérique and all that is holding it in arrière.

  18. Live CANADA!!!!

  19. and thats the fundamental misconception. “capitalism” cannot consider humanity, it can only consider profit, and nothing else.
There is no bad “AIG”, there are not even “bad, greedy AIG managers”. It’s just how it works . . .

  20. I was given Vioxx for women against cancer with BCBS @ 17 @ $ 7500 I have used only once in the year 17. They said they would not “cover” of cancer for me again and in 2003 I was denied emergency room care @ The county full of illegals I waited 13 hours -21h30 to hear that and they charged me $ 1.400!

  21. What will it take to change? The ballot or the bullet?

  22. You pay to feel safe. That’s basically it.

  23. Capitalism doesn’t work if profit does not concider humanity in general.

  24. right-hand side *Et not, us n' let us not have to wait more in France. I do not know about l' England. On average, a citizen américain awaits a surgery  “à cÅ “ ur ouvert”, like you l' said, 2 years and 3 months. In France: 1. – Everyone, même if they do not work, they has all the sécurité sociale.2. – They pay 52 $ for a long d' use; one year of this insurance, et3. – If you have a médecin régulier, you can plan a opA©ration " à heart ouvert" for the following day. Obtain the facts your fifth.

  25. You should go to Canada to see how they do it instead of read it somewhere.
