I don’t know of any scam that lasted 33 years anyway.

@deriktutt LoL! WoW! that is so true!
… Primerica FREEDOM Lives Here!!
May 25th, 2011 - 13:08
It’s funny because I see a lot of people looking at the videos about Primerica being a scam, but there aren’t many looking at this video showing the exact opposite. No scam is on the NYSE. Sucks for them if they got offered the opportunity of a lifetime and passed it up. Enjoy your lives of mediocrity! I’m on my way to the top!

This is such a BIG Step…For a company to go live at a time when other financial companies are going down SAYS ALOT! PRIMERICA is made up of people who not only CARE for the public but DO THE RIGHT THING ALL OF THE TIME…Way to go PRI !!!!!!!!!

Primerica certainly is not a scam. The insurance business is a highly regulated industry. People always associate the network marketing model with a pyramid. At least they paid attention in Kindergarten and can identify a shape.
May 25th, 2011 - 15:42
Yeah for sure!!!!!!
May 25th, 2011 - 16:26
there are somany retards out there that think this is a pyramid but dont even know what a pyramid is that that they are against the law??? we will see who is sayingt hat when AIG or ALLSTATE dont pay your death claim because you died on the way to the hospital and not on impact.
May 25th, 2011 - 16:28
So much for all of the naysayers saying that this company went out of business.

@4HourBodyMakeover Hi I’m not an expert on the 4 hr diet, but I am hypothyroid and have also struggled with weight issues. Have you beed tested for food allergies (esp. gluten) or Candida (yeast overgrowth)? Also the chemicals in proceesd foods and non-organic meat can further inhibit your metabolism. You might want to check out Stop the Thyroid Madness.com or Dr. Kharrazian’s ‘ask Dr K’ website. Good luck, & I hope you make it to your goal weight.

I plan on sticking to his “diet” but im curious. Do you think having 2 slices of bread (i have a sandwich for lunch every day, because its easier) would do alot of harm? it is never more that 2 slices a day.

I finished my first week with a free day as outlined in the book and it was a disaster. I loved the week of slow carbing – but the cheat day killed me. I followed directions to a “T” but I gained back the 4.5lbs I lost and then some! I don’t get it. Im taking my pills, lemon before eating, exercises, the whole nine. Im hypothyroid, maybe that has something to do with it – im hop[ing maybe you can shed some light on this. I really like the diet otherwise but im so discouraged

Good overview of the diet dude.

The idea of Slow Carbohydrate means that beans are considered a slow moving carb. They have a tonne of fiber so they make you feel fuller longer. Thus burn slowly. I thought beans were classified as a legume. But if you stick to it it works. You have to be disciplined. The ice packs theory has really yet to be tested on my part. Overall you lose a tonne of weight, but as with any diet its challenging. If you eat out all the time, it really easy to follow !

Jack – I’m starting this myself and I haven’t understood yet the difference between slo carb and no carb?
As a life insurance guy, I thought I’d point out that a few years back my premiums went up when I gained weight. Hello! I asked the obvious question – can I lose weight and lower it. Yes. They said yes. I had to get a physical after losing weight, but that was smart anyway. My .02.

I would speak to a doctor if you are 14. This is not something I recommend for a teenager. he would have better advice then any of us !
May 25th, 2011 - 22:40
I would consult your doctor if you are 14 This is something maybe her could help you with.

I agree with you and your sarcasm. The funny thing is he is sitting on millions. However stupid it sounds it works. The book is just a tool for an amazing marketing genius. Who has made it as a two time best seller.
May 26th, 2011 - 00:32
Wow this guy is a genius! He has discovered that simple carbs make people fat, and complex carbs don’t! Holy crap! Every bio chemist in the country is wanting to be him right now! That is a truely groundbreaking discovery! Bravo…..
May 26th, 2011 - 01:16
I DID ACCORDING TO THE BOOK !
May 26th, 2011 - 02:14
when you say avoid rice and bread, does that include brown rice and brown bread?
May 26th, 2011 - 02:31
In my fourth week and lost about 12 lbs the first three weeks. The diet is nice and simple.
May 26th, 2011 - 03:07
I did it for a month. It was not hard at all. Body gets use to it. NO Vitamins but I added a green plus green drink every day. I felt my best on this and lost 20 lbs of fat. Thanks for the compliment. I am now attempting the INSANITY program. Stay tuned ……Jack The Lifeman …

Hey, I’m going to read the book but can you tell me if he gives some tips on how to eat the necessary vitamines since he tells you to cut on fruits? I know that the shell of the orange (is that right? I’m not a native speaker) contains the most of the vitamins and I suppose that’s right for the other fruits. And I suppose that part of the fruit has no sugar so that’d be fine. However it’d be better if it was peel of organic fruit and very wall washed. BTW, nice review!
May 26th, 2011 - 03:54
I think I want to try this…..will let you know!
May 26th, 2011 - 04:32
@ShelterDogs CONGRATULATIONS!! I’m very very happy for you. I will hopefully be posting my “starting” video tomorrow and a weekly update from there. I’m started at 223 (after having lost over a pound last week from just making two changes in two days!). I have a goal of 12% or 205 wichever is most convenient. After that, I want to KILL the gym and go back to my heavy lifting and bulk up on muscle. I just don’t know yet how this is going to turn out. I want to go from rippled to ripped!
May 26th, 2011 - 05:02
@eketelon Yep, you are right. They say we only retain 10% of what we learn, whether that be a classroom or a book. I did go back and rered that section of the book and it does clearly say “no breads-none at all.” No grains, period. I’ve cut the bread out since I read that. I did have a slice on Saturday, though! My weight went down two days after the binge on Sat! This diet is nuts! I’m losing weight for the first time in over a year. I had previously lost over 100 pounds, but came to a stall.

@ydna2003 I do the ice packs each night and some morings and the cold showers after my workouts 3 nights/week.
